Melissa Nohr, JD, HHP, IHP, BNP is a Board-Certified Holistic Health Practitioner, Integrative Health Practitioner, ReCode 2.0 Health Coach, Bio-individual Nutrition Practitioner, and Certified Genetics Practitioner.Melissa has over 10 years of functional medicine experience with a variety of complex health issues.

Melissa Nohr, JD, HHP, IHP, BNP is Managing Director of TheraOptimalHealth. She is a Board-Certified Holistic Health Practitioner, Integrative Health Practitioner, ReCode 2.0 Health Coach, Bio-individual Nutrition Practitioner, and Certified Genetics Practitioner. She is also a speaker and published writer on a variety of health topics. 

For the past 12 years, Melissa has helped hundreds of clients all over the world improve their health. She has extensive knowledge and experience with a variety of complex health issues including neurodegenerative conditions, metabolic syndromes, autoimmune conditions, gastrointestinal issues, inflammatory conditions, and environmentally acquired illnesses.

Melissa is trained in functional lab testing including blood work, stool testing, organic acids testing, mycotoxin testing, and many more. Melissa also mentors and trains other health coaches and practitioners.

  • I have two sets of twins, four years apart. 
  • I practiced law for 10 years as a litigation attorney.
  • I was an All-State point guard and MVP of my basketball team.
  • Marvel, Star Wars, and Justice League movies are my favorites! 
  • I am a foodie and dreamed of being a restaurant critic.
  • I love water skiing, HIIT classes, and walks in nature.
  • My favorite dessert is strawberry cheesecake.
  • I grew up on a farm with chickens and pigs. 
  • I met my husband in law school.
